Leonard graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Arts in 1986 and from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1989.  He was called to the Bar in Ontario in 1991.  He is an experienced solicitor who has been practicing for over 23 years, specializing in Real Estate transactions and Business Law.  In addition to running a successful practice, Leonard is also the Chair of the Mississauga Appeal Tribunal and is a Toronto Police Auxiliary Inspector with over 28 years of service.  Leonard has also served his community as a member of the Board of Directors of St. John Ambulance, The Peel Literacy Guild, and is currently a member of the University of Toronto Mississauga Campus Council and of the City of Mississauga Election Campaign Finance Committee.
